      be careful when the project is nearing an end. there is a lot of chance that you will get laid off if there are no project in the pipeline to staff you on

      Cons

      Uncertainty is at its best. What next?(for an employee) seems to be the biggest question here. If you work for a client who's equally vague and confusing it's just an icing on your cake *sarcasm* I have seen people getting fired and the people who got fired feel that the expectations were not clearly communicated.

      It's consulting, so you get exposed to different clients

      They are just sleezy! No one wants to drive/travel, so they just do is best for themselves and can't deliver. Every man for himself and find a way to bill the client for it.
