Their benefits are terrible. They offer unlimited PTO but you can only take 2 weeks paid and require multiple levels of approval to take time off. They put so much bureaucratic tape in place to discourage you from taking time off. If you’re sick more then a day you can’t go back to work without a doctor’s note. Limited in what they cover healthcare wise and for medications. Just the fact I’ve had to go around and around with their Benefits Manager playing word salad in regards to what they cover has made me consider looking. Perficient need sto realize that if they want their employees to work hard they need to provide decent pay and benefits and not make their employees’ beg borrow and plead just to use them.

- Sedentary and isolating remote work: not good if you like people or if you don't like spending all day in your room - Not fulfilling/meaningful: It's a corporation completely driven by profit working for other corporations. There's no sense that you're helping people or contributing to the greater good. - The role is dry and not highly stimulating: This role is mostly about solving coding problems as quickly as possible. It becomes very monotonous over time, only exercising your brain's analytical and problem solving abilities.
