disappointing and avoidable experience

Pros

Some of the employees are very talented, kind, and helpful. The intentions and plans appear positive, but don't translate in practice.

Cons

Many recruiting, hiring, onboarding, tech support, HR, leadership, and operations processes/employees were inefficient, incompetent, inappropriate, inaccurate, and/or unkind. The culture involves micromanagement and accolades for working late into the evenings and on weekends. Bonus structure based on billable hours encourages employees, particularly managers, to hoard projects and hours. What is reviewed in interviews/documents/meetings doesn't translate in practice.

Pros

Not much positive about this company.

Cons

Management is in the habit of lying to employees & customers. This is the most dishonest organization I've worked for in my 15 years as a db admin. They also abuse the H1B visa program by keeping H1B employees with lesser skills (who are paid less and are easier to abuse), while laying off U.S. citizens with greater skills.

Pros

For new employee, they offered really good salary

Cons

Work-life balance dependent on the projects. Like others have mentioned, it's all about billable hours. If you have competing offers, I would steer away because again, it's all about billable hours. Your bonus, performance review, raise will dependent on that. The company will state that they have the budget for trainings, but in reality they don't. If you charge too many hours into training, your manager will start chasing you down. I have seen them lied to clients just to get them to signed on the projects, which is wrong to the business. Last but not least, there isn't much diversity in this company.
