Pros
I worked with some of the best people I've ever worked with at this company. Coming to work from that perspective was truly a joy. The projects I worked on were stimulating and there was a great deal of transparency into the results, which lends itself to a sense of purpose and a feeling you contribute to the overall success of the company.
Cons
Internal promotion is rare here. Good luck finding your way up the corporate ladder if you don't come from their old stomping grounds. One manager in particular was my motivation for leaving - the person in question hires and fires as if people are expendable. I went from feeling valued and empowered to feeling like I was "next." So, I jumped ship. I wasn't the first - don't think I was the last. Pay was incredibly low given the level of technical expertise required to succeed in this job.
