Pros

The company overall has a strong reputation and good projects.

Cons

internal practices extreme micromanagement. Very disrespectful in communication, often offends team members. Ignores company flexibility policies — while the Pune team works 2 days in-office, enforces 3 days . Ego-driven approach, lacks empathy, and undermines morale. Such behavior is damaging the company’s culture and reputation despite its strengths.

I appreciate you taking the time to post here. We've worked very hard in building out our India location which has grown significantly over the last couple years. The facilities are a fantastic place to work. Our culture is built around people and our leaders are taught to openly communicate to employees, treat everyone with respect, and create an environment where everyone can be successful. We do have a policy of required days in the office and this can vary by department. This is necessary to support our customers or the business. But, we do provide flexibility to everyone in their work hours, days in the office, and support when life happens requiring time off. We provide leaders with education throughout the year to ensure they are modeling our desired values and culture. If you'd like to have a one on one with me to discuss this deeper, please feel free to schedule some time with me. ~Jim Cassens, CEO

Pros

Gym reimbursement upto 50$ Remote work option available Work life balance is good Product based company so fewer meetings. Xmas week off given for all employees. Xmas gift given but the quality is going down now. Annual bonus is given, which is a small %age of ur CTC

Cons

Growth prospects not so good. New CEO not so good in giving hikes. Poor hikes given. No party or celebration after any product release. New Indian Mgmt., salary structure not good at all. Everything is driven from US Limited growth opportunity. I don't approve of the new CEO.

Pros

There used to be some really talented people at Delphix, but many have left. The interview process is interesting and a bit easy. But they don't innovate the process

Cons

If it was a Delphix only review I would've probably given a 4, but since Delphix decided to get sold to Perforce, this rating goes to both Delphix and Perforce. Profit making is the sole purpose ig in corporate, nobody loves their product it's just a means to earn them more profit, and by them I only mean the top stakeholders not your average developer who works day in day out to make the product better. Blaming a particular company in this vast ecosystem of IT shops seems futile. - The biggest con of Delphix ig is that most of the people who decide what will be worked on and distributed down to the last developer do not know the in and outs of the product especially the Engineering managers, and the worst part is they're the ones who decide the fate of the developer. I can count the number of people who actually know the product well and what it does and actually treat Delphix as it's their own product.

Thank you for the feedback in your post. No, we're not perfect but I hope that you'll find our approach - build a great company, with great people and truly value added products - will resonate with you. This will be a process and not something that can change over night. Our employees are our greatest asset and we believe hold the answers to our success. I hope given more time with Perforce, you'll see how collaborative our company can be. Delphix is one of the most meaningful acquisitions in terms of people and products. Our goal is to embark on strategies that will get the solution in use with more customers than every before. Thanks again for the feedback as we can use this information to continuously improve. ~ Jim Cassens, Perforce CEO
