Pros

You may have the potential to earn good money if you are one of the very few that can do this.

Cons

There is alot of traveling involved, out of pocket expenses, communication with the company, possibility of being put out to pasture on your own if you aren't a positive for them. If you cant take getting yelled at, turned down 20 times a day and don't have $5,000 in your pocket right now you can just give to them politely for their time I highly recommend you don't try this at all!

Pros

Hard to say, the upper management is only out for themselves. Sink or Swim, if its not for you get out ASAP

Cons

Always living out of a suitcase, If your a habitual liar this is your perfect job, its commission only and you pay for all your expenses, sometimes sharing a room with a nasty, smelly individual. Its cold calling and they falsify their "herding" techniques while using friends, family and neighbors names like they know them to pressure rural farmers into insurance products. High pressure one visit closing techniques...

Pros

Well, if you like being told to expect things that are completely removed from reality then that could be seen as a "pro". Perhaps they are " pros" at lying.

Cons

You will work long hours in the most boring conditions possible selling a product being offered by dozens of competitors to people that aren't exactly thrilled to see you. Sound good? It gets better. Since it is a 1099 position you get to buy the gas for driving to locations that are potentially HOURS away from you. You also get to buy gifts for your customers, as well as pay for copies of flyers. Oh! And they have MANDATORY meetings you get to drive to and spend time at without compensation too! Here's the best part though. When you realize that you are making about half of minimum wage and leave, PMA waits about 6 months to file your termination paperwork while customers cancel their policies. Then, PMA charges you back for all of them. They want a couple thousand dollars from me right now after I made nothing working for them. Run, do not walk away from this "opportunity". Run I say!
