      Pros

      With the company leadership change into more agile, there is more and more room for innovation and experimentation. Moreover, there is less tolerance for political behavior and non-transparent communication.

      Cons

      At times, it feels that there is no real strategy behind the constantly changing direction.

      Pros

      From walking in on my first day to where I am today, I am continually impressed with the people and culture at PerkinElmer. Employees are super nice and passionate about the company and its products/services. The business leaders are also great -humbled, hardworking and always accessible/responsive. Company also has lots of career opportunities. I've seen many people (myself included) be promoted into career advancing/management opportunities.

      Cons

      Systems/processes are bit outdated/manual, but the business leaders and CIO are fast-tracking to remedy this.

      Pros

      Some skilled and fun colleagues, some products are really innovative. Good benefits plan Nice company car Nothing else i could think of

      Cons

      Business unit manager who is not trained and bully employees as punishment for own failures... Very few good managers and their days are counted as other managers are lurking and cannibalize business unit profits. Respect your employees! Do not shout, yell or disgrace them - it barely legal and you could get sued. Crazy hours which will worn anyone out and few workers already had breakdowns for few months... Marketing is very slow and not responsive production is slow, service and application support Are not working together which complicates global satisfaction. Many software solutions to master and very little compatibility.
