Decent place to work

Pros

Middle of the road for pay, good benefits/rewards package that the employee can affect the price of by participating in the wellness program, tons of shift options available and management is VERY flexible with starting times in the laboratory setting.

Cons

High risk of pigeonholing here. HR is more interested in what degree you're holding than what you can actually do. For the laboratory job I had, I fully believe anyone with a GED could be taught to do it, yet they "prefer" a bachelor's degree. This is overkill and completely unnecessary. I wanted to move to another department outside of laboratory work but was told I didn't have the proper degree and instead chose to leave because I was extremely burnt out.
