Pros

-pays decent -staff is super nice -*most* doctors are good

Cons

-dictator management, as long as you go along and don't buck the system for patient safety, you'll be fine -biased scheduling. again, this is management. If you're not one of their "buddies" you'll get the shaft. -Administration will not stand up for the patient over the doctor.

Pros

Morale is high. Administration sees employees as the real driving force to the success of the hospital. Patients are respected. Co-workers are encouraged to pat each other on the back. Thank you notes are sent regularly to recognize compliments from co-workers. It's just a great environment.

Cons

When you're working for the best, it's easy to forget how bad some people really have it and to take things for granted (especially in a small town like Kerrville).
