The management of the company has taken a turn for the worse over the last 2-3 years. They do not know the vitamin category, and do not want to understand its complexities. This has led to excessive turnover. Management tries to force out long time employees who have successfully built the business. Management runs on nepotism and short term strategies so that they can get their big bonuses.

This was a great company prior to 2010. During 2010 many managers resigned, were demoted or were let go due to department reorganizations. The replacement managers that were hired were not familiar with the vitamin/supplement business nor basic business acumen. Hence, there was a lot of missteps by management in running the business due to arrogance, double standards, disrespect of long-time employees and disregard of customers requests. Management and HR did not support any opportunity for employee development and growth due to managers preferring to hire employees who enabled their inept work. Managers were very unprofessional to the point of bullying and harassing employees which resulted in significant turn over of employees and a lot of short-term employees. Overall I would recommend avoiding working here since you will be looking for another job within a year or two.
