Pros

Pay is quite good although rest of benefits are really basic and could be improved

Cons

They just mandated a 3-day on site policy (Tue to Thurs) without any clear rationale other than “because the CEO said so”. And all this while allowing the executives to live in other parts of the country. Demotivating seems like going backward

Thank you for the feedback. At Pharmavite, we continue to expand our Total Rewards program by adding new benefits like pet insurance and mental health resources to ensure employees feel supported at work and at home. Although the cost of health care continues to rise, Pharmavite chooses to absorb the cost in lieu of passing it on to the employee. We are proud to share that in a recent employee survey, 81% agree that our benefits are competitive. On the hybrid working front, Pharmavite has been a leader in offering employees flexibility through a commonsense approach. When we first returned to the office earlier in 2022, we built a customized and personalized plan for each employee based on their role and responsibilities. That lead to most hybrid work employees being mapped at three days in the office. In our recent announcement, we just formalized those three days to Tuesday through Thursday to enable strong working relationships and ensuring a cohesive culture, while also providing for the flexibility needed by teams and employees. We’ve also empowered our managers to take a practical approach to ensure employees have added flexibility such as offering work away weeks for anyone who wants to travel and work, as well as fully virtual weeks at certain times during the year such as the week of Thanksgiving. If you still have concerns about hybrid work, we encourage you to share them with your manager or HR partner.

Stay Away from Finance

Pros

Decent pay, decent benefits. Most of the company has good work-life balance.

Cons

Finance Organization. In my opinion, the Finance Leadership creates unnecessary churn and stress in the organization. It seems to treat people poorly and find special pleasure in publicly humiliating people in the team. It seems incapable of prioritizing and considers everything to be urgent - always! Appears to micromanage the team and does not listen. I have never seen Leadership admit to being wrong and it seems to throw the team under the bus to self-protect. I haven't seen Leadership show any regard for people's personal situations, work-life balance, or stress levels. Not surprisingly, turnover seems high in the Finance organization.

We also monitor turnover and engagement across the company on a regular basis. While Finance is trending at about the same turnover rate as Pharmavite overall, a recent employee survey clearly showed higher rates of engagement amongst that team. We acknowledge that rapid transformation is not for everyone and we encourage you to engage in further discussions with your manager or Human Resources to ensure you are working together to understand your perspectives and address specific needs in context of our priorities and transformation.
