If you do get a good hard working boss who leads from the front instead of the back.

Cons

If you don't, well best of luck to you. Most of the people in charge are self centered control freaks, who pat themselves on the back for things other people came up with, that they denied when they aren't the ones who came up with it.

Can learn some lab skills if you create space to take on more complicated tests.

Cons

No training structure, need to really push to get past gravimetric tests methods often not validated, OOS process of testing until it passes.
