Pros

Literally, there is nothing good.

Cons

I left this company in the middle of a pandemic. Don't listen to fluffy 5-star summer reviews. This company has many issues, and like most reviews point out, the company tries to deflect by saying it's in a time of transition, and those complaining don't want to change with the times. Yes, this company needed a change, but this company has no idea what they are doing. We push through projects to revamp the brand to have them crash and burn or have them scratched by senior leaders who can't agree. This company can't get on the same page, and senior management passes the blame. When you have lousy leadership, none of the new programs will succeed. I started job hunting last fall, hearing of the reorganizations and layoffs happening; my role was not impacted, but the changes negatively impacted our team. When the company moved to the new offices,' many employees doubled their commute times, and managers were not open to working from home or other options. HR would defer to their managers. There was no point in trying to talk to anyone for support. With Covid-19, all corporate employees have been working from home and getting work done to the manager's surprise. Treat employees like adults, stop trying to hide behind 1970 HR policies. The company made a massive push for the open space environment and coming into the millennium as a "hip" company. Yet, employees were given less freedom and treated more like children. The CEO says I want to empower you all to remove all the red tape, but the very leaders he brought on are the most significant red tape. We can't move forward when leaders want to micromanage and keep an eye on everything. It's challenging to work cross-functionally when leaders are bickering and just passing the blame to save their jobs instead of doing their jobs and collaborating. Hiring 2 innovation teams is not innovating; making leaders accountable for their behavior and changing the environment to do work and innovate is what is needed.

We’re sorry to hear this has been your experience. As you pointed out, this is an important moment in Pharmavite’s history as we transform our market-leading company for ongoing future success at a time when bringing the gift of health to life has never been more important. Due to the pandemic, we have had to make many adjustments to our ways of working. Pros

We currently have jobs and benefits.

Cons

Incredibly frustrated with our company. The truth is like most glassdoor reviews point out, there's a huge disconnect between leadership/HR and the employees. The company has its purpose and values posted on everything but refuses to take action with leaders that do not believe in or live those values. They do nothing except remember that you spoke up, so there is no point talking to them. Many of my team members are frustrated, and due to Covid-19, we feel we can't speak up for fear of losing our jobs. Leaders that should have been laid off during the layoffs in the last 2 years are still here. It's frustrating to see so many incompetent leaders if you try to express concerns or raise potential issues, they pushed you out. The senior leadership team doesn't care as long as it gets done, even if it's not done correctly. The senior leadership team keeps telling us we are in transition and get on the boat and row. It's more like shut up, your opinion doesn't matter, and just do it. But when the stuff hits the fan, then it's a different tune.

We’re sorry to hear this has been your experience. Due to the pandemic, we have had to make many adjustments to our ways of working to ensure both employee safety and business continuity. That said, we stand by our operating value: Do the Right Thing. If you have any questions or concerns, we ask you to raise them to your manager and if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, elevate the dialogue to Site Leadership and/or Human Resources.
