Pros

-Coworkers -Health Benefits -Company Events (where adults act like college children)

Cons

This company is the Fyre Festive scam in tech start-up form. They paint a really beautiful picture, unlimited PTO, flexible schedules, casual office, open floor, company wide events, fantastic benefits and it truly is wonderful for the first month. After that first month the blinders come off and you realized you work in utter chaos. You will not have any formal training but will be expect to talk to customers who are well educated individuals who work at top companies. Any guidance that you seek from your manager will be used against you or just simply ignored. Management is too busy with projects that they don't have time to properly train their subordinates or manage. Leaders of this company are okay with their employees SCREAMING at each other in meetings and blaming one another instead of working together. Everyone is over worked especially the development team who is constantly being thrown under the bus and yelled at in meetings. It honestly is shameful that a company in HR allows employees to be treated with such disrespect, even more so during COVID. The unlimited PTO is a nice joke you will always be working! You will be expect to work on your PTO and if you don't good luck catching up on ALL the emails and customer updates you missed while you were out. The benefits are really awesome, but take my word for it...they aren't worth the stress that will come with this company! And hey if you don't believe me please try it for yourself...but just remember...I told you so.

Pros

There's a unique satisfaction in solving current problems using a decade of context, all while being challenged to evolve. The "learn-and-apply" loop is incredibly tight, keeping the engineering spirit alive. The transition from fresher to Director was supported by a strong mentorship culture. I not only manage people but also remain empowered to be a technical problem-solver, guiding the next generation.

Cons

If you are looking for a job where you can just check boxes and clock out, you won’t thrive here. We operate on a culture of deep curiosity. If you aren't prepared to constantly upskill and dive into the 'why' behind a problem, you’ll likely feel overwhelmed by the pace of learning expected. Don't join if you aren't willing to take personal ownership of customer pain points. We don't just 'pass the buck' to other departments. Engineering here is deeply connected to the real-world impact of our code; if you prefer to stay isolated from the end-user's experience, this isn't the right fit.

Pros

Great learnings on how the talent acquisition space is transforming.

Cons

Too many to count. Compensation is below market. Was not offered any equity. Worked 11 hour days and had meetings on Sundays. No work life balance Leadership is a mess. Was yelled at by the CEO/COO on numerous occasions. There is no overall strategy. Too many deadlines for customer commits while be reinforced to focus on adoption metrics which is impossible to accommodate. The company has a done a lot of acquisitions with little benefit for the organization. No one is held accountable for poor performance. No roadmap for the product at all Worked with a lot of unethical sales people and I was told to lie directly to clients about features that did not exist. I was constantly berated by a sales manager at least once a week for mishandling a client although I am not client facing.
