Pros

As someone who graduated last year during the pandemic trying to find a steady job with good pay was very hard to come by. With that being said, I got recruited for this job earlier this year and I can honestly say I LOVE working for Philips. The team that I work with are such strong and knowledgeable leaders and I've learnt so much already and I can't wait to learn more.

Cons

Fast paced and lost of processes to learn but doable

Pros

Interesting career with a positive impact on people's lives. Options for internal movement and growth exist. Good pay, however annual increases are low and can often be offset by increase in insurance premiums. Many options to work remote. 60+ hour work weeks are the norm and not the exception.

Cons

Frequent reorganizations, highly skilled, tenured, top-performers given 30 days notice their role will be eliminated. Reorganizations negatively impact process, projects and customers. Multiple lay-off scenarios impact teams yearly. Strategic direction changes frequently as senior leadership changes frequently. Limited number of women and/or minorities in leadership roles.
