      It is a lot politics going on.

      Pros

      The job is great if you work with senior employees who have been through the many changes and merges. Excellent benefits and if you are a part of the click you then will be automatically promoted.

      Cons

      However, in my fours there and two separate positions I have 5 managers each with their own set of expectations. Upper Management is clueless and is the main reason the company is losing across modalities. Which is a direct result of the employees acting like crabs in a barrel.

      Pros

      What you do eventually makes a difference in someone's life. The remaining people are what makes the company a good place

      Cons

      Politics and backstabbing due to the constant worry about job losses that come out of the blue. Laying off those that will be vocal about this, causing many to be resentful under the surface and planning to look or wait for the economy to come back so that they can leave.

      Short term bottom line thinking trumps common sense. Every discovered problem results in a new process. We never solve the problem, we just change our way of measuring it.
