Pros

Benefits, work/career balance If you want an H1-B visa go for it, they're a factory. I'd say 80-90% of the technical people are foriegn born, Chineese, Pakistan, Indian. Most with poor English skills. Then you have the Dutch expats.

Cons

Salary at the very low end, very high cost of living (NYC suburbs), no career path, technically unsophisticated, when they say research they mean short term development. Bad communication across research labs (Eindhoven gets priority, followed by China & India).

Good place to work, providing you manage your time wisely. Get involved, network and create alliances to better understand the business globally. Decent Benfits packages, bonus and salary is excellent for a well diversed company.

Cons

Clicks, its who you know to get advanced and lots of drama in departmental units. Communication across businesses needs great improvement at all levels. Global company
