Pros

Admire the work that everyone at this facility does for the community and children. Great place to begin your career.

Cons

Financial dependence on AHCCCS and always receiving pressure to reduce contracted rates with commercial and private payors leaves employees to do more with less. CEO does not embrace a transparent culture and Senior Management is left with having to triage employee concerns at every turn.

Pros

1. Mission of healing. 2. Seeing that recovery is possible. 3. Researching the possibilities of medicine and its impact on our future generations. 4. Seeing medical professionals dedicated to helping others survive and live a life that has potential and is very meaningful.

Cons

1. There is no leadership training or classes on how to become and maintain being a successful professional. There is lack of oversight and accountability. 2. There is a lack of trust throughout the organization, from top to bottom. 3. Leadership is reactive rather than proactive, often recycling the same approaches. 3. There is a failure to bridge the generational gap, which results in neglecting past service, age discrimination and dedication while failing to promote future growth. Harmony is diminished and struggling. (Please see other comments). 4. Professional boundaries are exploited and not honored. 5. There is failure at the leadership level to understand, utilize and leverage people’s unique abilities.

Pros

If you are clinical staff, its amazing. On the administrative side, forget it.

Cons

Worst leadership I've ever worked for. The turnover rate in a lot of their departments is at a record high. There's a lot of nepotism at the top, as well.
