Pros

Fun and fulfilling place to work, everyone tries there best to help you succeed and no one will try to hold you back. Fast pace work environment, with the opportunity to work on something new everyday. Great for self motivated workers. Hours are flexible and employees and supervisors are extremely kind. As a first job for an engineer or a PhD looking to do there own research PSI is an excellent choice.

Cons

Facilities are a little dated and there are a lack of amenities compared to other tech companies. Not much of a social atmosphere and a bit of an older crowd (not many people in there early twenties)

Pros

Good tech pubs and contract support for proposal submission

Cons

This is the most dysfunctional company I've ever worked at. The long-time managers who have been funded by the same agencies for years have totally lost sight of what it's like to be just starting out. Expectations are unreasonable and there is little mentoring.

Pros

PSI provides a flexible work environment , a talented diverse staff and the opportunity to pursue opportunities to conduct research in a broad range of areas that interest you. PSI offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits

Cons

Research programs at PSI typically have a duration of 6 months to 2 years. You'll work on multiple projects and will have to balance the demands of contracts at different stages. It is a demanding, but also rewarding and stimulating environment.
