Pros

High-quality products, good business model (build a huge, really nice store in an area to gain a pseudo-monopoly on the local grocery business, then cut all of the store's features to cut costs). Good job for summers while I was in college. Steady raises for doing a good job. Steady overtime pay opportunities.

Cons

Break times are ridiculous (minimum allowed by law). Corporate reps were kind of putzy, not very good at communicating with the retail personnel.
