Pros

Good place to work for Knoxville. There is lots of growth happening in this company, which does allow does movement into other departments. Great place to learn a trade and move on to bigger role and pay elsewhere. The hours can be anywhere from 40-50 hours per week in the office depending on role and season plus on-call and work from home.

Cons

Company admits they pay below average rates for white collar roles as they benchmark themselves against retail and convenience store industry companies. Benefits are lackluster, with deductibles in the 1,500-6,000 range.

Pros

Weekly Pay with direct deposit Cell phone discount for Verizon, Att and sprint Free Flu shot at Walgreens Decent hours

Cons

Implement new items and run out of new product to order Not one person in company understands food service Horrible labor allocation for stores, if it was their choice they would have 1 cashier, I MOD, 1 maintenance person and 1 deli team member to entire travel plaza No employee recognition what so ever, had to beg for $10 gift cards to let employees know we care Unrealistic goals for store with the staffing available

Pros

Mostly the only pro I have is that the uniform prohibits and scandalous attire. I've had problems with that in the past. Another plus is that they are very well organized and have set ways for almost everything.

Cons

A lot of the challenges I encounter every day is that the upper management doesn't seem to care so much for the cashiers. The management is very clique like, as if they were in high school.
