Stressful environment, fun at times, GM and DM make it good or bad

Pros

Lots of customer interaction, busy, leaders get monthly bonuses ( average 100-200) health insurance $$$, 24 hrs , some locations have a kitchen/deli so they hire food service too.

Cons

Lots of customer interaction, constant turn over, lots of policies and program to participate in and promote, not enough coverage or payroll

Pros

Made a few good friends. Had a few regular customers who made leaving a little bitter-sweet. Not much more to say.

Cons

Looked over for opportunities multiple times. I was training incoming GM’s for other stores for a year, but whenever I looked at becoming one myself was kind of brushed off. It is a man’s world, which was clear by the lack of diversity at the GM level and beyond. Worked over 50 hrs a week and was expected to do so much more than credited or compensated for. Unreliable staff left the good employees we had doing the job of many, but honestly at just above minimum wage, you can’t blame them too much.

Pros

Good people, decent facilities, flexible, positions available to advance in company if desired, bonuses were consistent, and 401k match was inline.

Cons

Antiquated computer equipment, uninspiring insurance benefits, top-down communication was extremely lackluster, very laborious interview and background check process (over the top for the job) and integrity of the company has been called into questioned recently.
