Pros
I must say that I was promoted almost immediately upon being hired. There is a lot to do and time passes rather quickly. Great for a person with a busy body and no degree.
Cons
I was talked down to continually even though I was much more intelligent and held greater education than most of my managers. Also, the customer complain to you about how they hate the company all day, and its hard to disagree. Employees are treated like thieves and not given any respect. I had managed for a few years in a much busier work place and they treated me like I was an idiot. The pay was atrocious, every other place would offer much more than 8.50 dollars an hour to management level employees. Also, I was required to work extremely random schedules. Often I would work 4 over night shifts and 2 day shifts a week. This destroyed any normal sleeping schedule I could muster. I was sick and sleep deprived all the time. There is also an atmosphere of backstabbing. Basically, trying to rat people out gets you praise, nothing monetarily speaking though. Overall, if you are an intelligent person who holds a degree don't even think about taking this job, I did it because I had to, but I'd rather have started my own business or worked else.
