Great people, very driven to catch bad guys

The people of Pindrop are what make it really a great place to work. Most of the employee base in the Engineering and Research organizations are the brightest and competent at their craft in the industry. The employee base is also wonderfully diverse. The mission is also something you can get behind because it makes it a lot easier to give your best every day when you know that your work is stopping thieves from stealing from real people and stopping fraud at every turn. Knowing that your work also improves the experience of everyday people who just need help from whatever institution they are calling into by reducing the friction for authenticating feels rewarding. The pace is fast and the work is fulfilling. You get to work on the latest technology trends in the industry and build incredible things. Even when the company was an office-first environment remote workers felt like first class citizens and the transition to fully remote was seamless because of this. The CEO is compassionate, charismatic, genuine, and was incredibly transparent. Every All Hands meeting you could ask questions that were difficult and he would answer them truthfully and not just give fluff answers that you could tell were meaningless. I've worked at plenty of companies where the CEO was just a stuffed suit but Vijay truly is brilliant and seemingly a bottomless well of energy.
