      Fun, but a low number of hours as a summer feild researcher resulted in small paychecks

      Pros

      I worked in the field as a research worker in the summer. The staff is friendly. They make sure you are healthy, safe and comfortable during working hours. Training is quick and most tasks are simple.

      Cons

      I worked in the field as a research worker in the summer. Although the hourly pay is very good, work days were extremely short, and it makes it hard to make a decent amount of money.

      Pros

      Awesome benefits like cheap health insurance and 6% matching 401k contribution in addition to a 3% automatic contribution, so you can put in 6% of your salary and the company contributes 9%. The 3% automatic contribution just started last year to replace half of their traditional pension plan benefits.

      Cons

      There are good managers and bad managers. If you have a good manager your life is great, if you have a bad manager you job isn't so enjoyable.
