      Pros

      Solid place to work, good money, great people, forward thinking. Room to grow.

      Cons

      Business decisions led to a severe cut in the East coast leading to many layoffs. Constant restructuring led to divisions among the working teams.

      Pros

      Currently things are going OK, The benefits are still better than most, the pay for this area is good. the safety culture has moved from "oh its just gods will here on the farm" to one that most industrial plants would be proud of. And Ellen's gone.

      Cons

      In '99 Pioneer was purchased by DuPont. Since then, employees went from having a name to being a number for the corporate stooges to ponder over. Even worse now that we have "merged with" Dow Chemical. Now its all about the almighty shareholder and his dividend!
