Great coworkers and team, flexible schedule, good work-life balance encouraged, challenging/interesting projects, Pioneer brand

Cons

Difficult to focus due to all the changes related to proposed merger with Dow, low morale, will there be more reductions at merge time? Spin-off time? Reduced benefits due to consolidating with Dupont benefits/obamacare over the last few years Exceptional performance is not recognized/rewarded due to HR restrictions based on numbers allowed for each performance descriptor Promotions difficult to achieve within same department...must take position in different dept. to move up the ladder

Engaged and enjoyable coworkers. Good health and vacation benefits, 401k match, and flexible hours which helps with work life balance.

Cons

Short sighted corporate vision. Cutting R&D. Not a very loyal employer. Transferring a good portion of research and development to cheaper overseas facilities.

- Very sloppy work environment. - Developers are not valued - too much politics
