Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for being with Pipedrive for more than three years – that in itself means a lot to us. We’re especially glad to hear that you value the people, the growth opportunities, and the impact you’re able to have. It’s great to see recognition for our engineering career framework, feedback culture, customer proximity, and the flexibility we aim to provide across distributed teams. Creating an environment where talented people can grow, collaborate, and stay close to our customers is something we continuously invest in. We also appreciate your honest note about strategy shifts and changing priorities. As you mentioned, operating in a dynamic market and industry does require adaptability, and we’re always working to balance agility with clarity and alignment. Feedback like yours helps us keep improving how we communicate and execute during times of change. Thank you again for being part of the journey and for contributing to what makes Pipedrive a great place to work – we really appreciate it!

Pros

Values that actually show up in daily work: internally driven, no excuses, be teachable, reach for greatness, don’t ruin other people’s days, team first. Empathetic management and a supportive internal culture are a big reason I’ve stayed for many years. There’s strong coaching and plenty of learning opportunities, and it’s a great platform for people who like extreme ownership and want to make real impact. Good perks, support, and compensation, plus meaningful technical and product challenges.

Cons

The ownership and standards are high, so it can be demanding during busy periods. The pace is fast and priorities can shift, and cross-team alignment can take time in a collaborative environment.

Pros

Once best culture and people Once most trusted and transparent

Cons

I worked at this company for six years, and it was definitely the best company I ever worked at. I started as a developer and grew to the level of Engineering Manager. This growth allowed me to witness how the company evolved over these six years. However, the last two years, post-acquisition by Vista, were disheartening. Vista replaced the entire C-level and top management with their own people, who were ill-prepared to handle crises. The lack of skills in the new leadership became apparent during the COVID and global crisis periods. An exodus began, and we observed how 2-4 mid-level management personnel would leave the company within a month. Managers who stayed attempted to provide feedback, but instead of taking action, the leadership started a witch hunt against those who dared to speak out. When former employees shared their opinions on Glassdoor, HR started demanding managers to address it. Upon refusal, artificial 5-star reviews with vague, short positive statements appeared, contrasting with the detailed, low-star feedback highlighting specific issues. The company underwent endless reorganizations, with the most "successful" project being merely increasing the subscription price for customers. Uncertainty and lack of trust permeated the organization. The once lively and active company turned into a circus where C-level executives claimed all was fine but then initiated layoffs immediately after. Anonymous feedback was disabled, and anyone who shared their truthful opinion was promptly contacted by HR, who acted more like data collectors to initiate processes to get rid of those deemed "not a good fit." Leadership's complete incompetence led this beautiful company to its current state. Most talents either fled or were laid off, and the rest are just trying to survive long enough.
