smart engineers nice office (thanks Tajur) interesting tech

Cons

leadership with non-tech background complex promotion system that values self-marketing (not hard metrics) deepening hierarchy (too many managers, 5+ levels deep) knowledge silos (only 1 dev knows service X) horizontal teams (not cross-functional) missing quality control within teams (only analysts that aggregate reports)
