Pros

Feels like family. Management is good to employees. If you have strong work ethic you will do fine here.

Cons

There is always more to do than there is time in the day.

Pros

Good quality of life in area. Good benefits although new employees are paying higher PERS retirement rates. Competitive pay rates. Lots of staff at retirement age so new younger staff are needed.

Cons

Top mangement in Human Services are all new. Lots of change occuring could be good or bad. This job has lots of late hours during budget development season which is sadly December to February.

Pros

High Pay for little work. The management and union staff are some of the highest in the state and the county is not very big.

Cons

Buddy system. Its very cut throat environment. If you want to move up the ladder you have to play the political game. There are many family members all working for the same court.
