Smoke and mirrors

Pros

Free food. Employees are nice and helpful. Family events.

Cons

Management is horrible. Managers show favortism. Different employees get different treatment. Managers are not professional, they talk about the clients. Training doesn't train you for the job. The team doesn't provide trainings for new skills/jobs. No concern/compassion for working mothers. Managers do not have managerial skills. Overworked for the amount of pay. Pay not competitive, compared to other companies who have the same positions. Benefits are costly. Even though it's a technical company and you are asked to take your laptop home everyday, it's frowned upon to work from home only in certain departments. The work life balance depends on the department your in not the company vision. Overwork some employees while others are underworked.

Pros

The work environment at PlanSource is amazing, from the recruiting to the training process and beyond. The team helps each other along as things are fast paced but when you have the right support it boost efficiency.

Cons

This is a fast developing company and has the expected growing pains which may not be a con necessarily instead makes you proud to be apart of the journey.

Pros

It's a great time to be at PlanSource. As a company we are growing and making the benefits world a better place for employers, employees, and brokers. Culture is a huge part of why I chose to work at PlanSource. As with any technology company, there is some stress that comes with this growth. The difference at PlanSource is there are people here ready and willing to help you out and expand your knowledge. Our leadership team is focused on being great now and into the future which is especially important in the ever changing HR Tech world.

Cons

As mentioned above, there is some stress that comes with the job. That can be considered a con, especially in Q4 if you aren't focused and organized. There are also the regular growing pains that come with growth an innovation. Nothing to worry about if you are driven and looking to learn and grow.
