Pros

not many conference calls, lack of management involvement

Cons

Company is run by ops, Loan officers are treated like imbeciles. don't expect to close loans less than 45 days. Processing is done by sales, processors just submit the items you obtain (including insurance, title, etc) we were told the ops/sales worked as a team, not at all. Lot's of changes and not informed until after procedures changed

Pros

Nice office and building and the free end of the month lunch. Salaries offered first seem satisfactory but not after paying for benefits ( especially if you have a family).

Cons

The supervisor doesn't coach unless you make a mistake and they will throw staff under the bus to make themselves look good to middle and upper management. Supervisor spends a good amount of time on his computer handling personal matters. Some employees don't push pages of paper with customer's sensitive info all the way into the shredder so it sits there on ledge exposed to the entire office, I've addressed this to two managers and I was met with great indifference. Benefits are too expensive and morale is very low.

Pros

Compensation for corporate employees is reasonable. Neither above, nor significant below, prevailing market rates for employment. There can be some room for growth, but most positions of noteworthiness are hired through direct-referrals of upper management, if they’re even posted at all.

Cons

Operational management is laughable. Secrecy and personal loyalties (all the managers bring their friends on board), takes precedent over common-sense employment policies and common-sense management practices. On the sales side—people are disposable. The Company will hire hoards of sales employees, and then do a “reduction in force” a few months later, and complain about the hiring expenditures. The Health insurance plan opens are Florida-based for all employees. High premiums, little-to-no coverage. The Company is run by a close-knit group of executives, ethics is also laughable. If you get there, and something ‘feels’ off, it probably is.
