Pros

I've been with Planet for 5 years and it's the only mortgage bank I've worked for that has delivered on growth promises. In my 5 years, employees have increased 1,000%, our servicing portfolio has increased 300% and we're now a full service mortgage bank focused on continued success. I've enjoyed the ride and look forward to what has yet to come.

Cons

We're babies on the origination world! Our origination platform was built in 2013, we're committed to building a state of the art platform but still experiencing some growing pains.

A Fast Growing Company to Work for

Pros

I was kind of weary of working for a mortgage company because it was not the fun job I was looking for out of college except Planet has exceeded my expectations. I enjoy coming to work every day since there is something new I can learn. I love working with my department and I feel like I have been with the company for longer than my time here. I get to interact with different people and different divisions every day. My supervisor and team lead are very supportive and actively listen while still maintaining the company's business goals and vision.

Cons

There is not a dishwasher on my floor at my office! I feel like we are doing a disservice to our Planet with all the wasted plastic disposable utensils and cups.

Pros

Great people, products and commission! I've been in this biz for 25+ years and I must say how refreshing it is to finally be at a company that truly cares about their employees! From CEO, to marketing, underwriting, management to processing, I really feel heard and respected... You need to be a part of this!

Cons

Comparing Planet to the past 4 companies I have been a loan officer, I really can't think of any =)
