Pros
We do some amazing stuff, working with great data and doing things nobody else does, launching dozens of satellites into space on a nearly continuous basis. We get a lot of freedom in how to do our jobs.
Cons
Especially in Berlin, the pay is not competitive and the office environment does not come up to the level of most startups in Berlin. Some upper-management seem to forget we exist and make decisions that totally change everything without having us in the loop. The biggest current issue is that re-orgs and re-focusing are putting profits above everything else, where good people are fired or shoved around. Also, the teams doing a lot of the hard work in the company are treated like caged chickens, getting the smallest amount of workspace that is legally allowed, while others enjoy their private offices.
