Pros

Was a great place to work for many years…

Cons

…until private equity, with their mandate of decreasing expenses, moving technical roles off shore, while increasing revenue drove the company to constant layoffs.

Pros

The team culture was incredible. Managers were very open and encouraging to explore new technologies and development processes. It was a very collaborative culture where engineers would often collaborate on solutions to complex problems which was especially nice given the displacement between all of the remote members of the team.

Cons

Outside of the team level, organization prioritization struggled. One day the stated priority might be one thing then the following day it would suddenly change. I would describe it as 'chasing a shiny object' instead of a thought out vision for what the project should be when it's complete.
