Pros

Great people work at Plexus.

Cons

Lack of career growth and opportunities. Stability is lacking because of the ups and downs in contract manufacturing. Also people are not held accountable for poor performance including quality metrics.

Pros

Good company but they use a temp agency to hire many employees. They hire and fire based on demand and its constantly changing. Its manufacturing so you can move around a lot. My managers were all really nice and not a ton of pressure to perform.

Cons

12 hour shifts from 6 to 6 were never fun. Little breaks during the day. Temp agency and HR don't screen well. We had a Felon on our team and he got in a fight outside with his girlfriend. Another mid level employee had a felony and went to jail on another one. Screening isn't good. People work there are all different education levels (meaning they are lower educated). Pay isn't great.

Pros

The Malaysia manufacturing plants are approaching to grow become 1st tier in EMS industry. Therefore there are many opportunity to improve in daily SOP, stabilization of Work flow and process, Work load balancing among department, and most important there are high mix low volume customers around.

Cons

There is no reward system for individual performance neither KPI with matrix. Therefore the motivation especially for those people who really contribute to the company is not in place.
