Management Doesn't Care About You

Pros

- cool office - nice equipment - lots of food - catered lunches/breakfast - amazing product

Cons

Honestly, Pluralsight's culture is way over-hyped. The management is truly awful. You can't even call them leaders. They don't care about you at all. Especially in sales, you're literally just a number to them. And don't you dare voice your opinion if it doesn't align with what you manager says, they'll basically behead you for it. It's their way or the highway. Also, like another reviewer said, it's all about becoming bffs with boss. They definitely play favorites on the sales team. Also, hardly any growth opportunity in this company. The job you come in to, is the job you're going to stay at.

Pros

There are not any left here. Maybe unlimited PTO if your teams were ever staffed enough to take a few hours away from your computer.

Cons

- major benefit cuts, most of us can't afford to work here anymore - lack of diversity - tone deaf to income disparity within the company - company meetings felt like I was part of an MLM scam - understaffed teams, very long hours more often than not - not a welcoming place for women within most sales based teams - I've never seen as many good employees rage quit as I have within the last three months. STAY AWAY - SAVE YOURSELF

Pros

Are there any pros anymore?

Cons

This used to be such a special place. The vision, mission and purpose were aligned, the employees were valued, the customers were happy. Now, the product has become a simple comodity, the sales team is expendable with unreachable KPIs to keep earnings low, and a very few favorites get everything they need. At least they cast some deadweight from the executive team (rhymes with "Feather" and "Landon"). I would no longer recommend a friend - in any field - to come and work here.

What you described is counter to what we strive for, and it’s unfortunate that this was your experience here. We are committed to upholding our values, and ensuring that our team members feel enabled and supported to do amazing things at Pluralsight is a key part of our success. We always encourage our team members to share their honest opinions with their leader or anyone on the executive team —, this is at the heart of our values “Seeking context with intention” and “Being accountable for excellence.” -Anita
