Pros

I have held 3 different roles across Pluralsight, from being a Corporate Recruiter for 2 years, to being an SMB Account Executive for about 6 mo, to now being a Solutions Consultant. The fact that I was able to tailor my career journey to exactly what I want for myself says it all - Pluralsight is a place where you can build YOUR future the way YOU want. I was able to have multiple mentors aid me through the journey at each step, was given opportunities to work on really cool, interesting projects to build my skills, and encouraged to create new projects that I was interested in doing, even if they were outside of my standard activities. I even took about a year of time where I left Pluralsight to be a SAHM after having my second kiddo, and was CELEBRATED by my leader for my choice to step away for a season, then welcomed back with praise and support from my old team as well as my new ones. I have felt so valuable and encouraged at every step of my career journey here, and I know I'm not alone in that. Since joining Pluralsight, I've convinced my sister, brother in law, and one of my husband's best friends to join as well because I love it so much.

Cons

Pluralsight has had multiple "tricky" stages where people felt nervous about change, but every single time I've been incredibly impressed at the transparency and honestly leadership has. The choices leadership makes always drive us forward, and our goals as an organization have always made sense to me and have genuinely made us better.

Thank you for sharing such a positive reflection on your journey with us. We truly believe that great careers are built when people feel empowered to grow and change, both professionally and personally. Your ability to navigate different roles, take time off to be with your family, and come back to a welcoming team speaks to the kind of culture we strive for. I also appreciate your note about in-person connection. I know how energizing those moments can be, and we’re continuing to look for meaningful ways to bring teams together. I’m proud Pluralsight has played such a large part in your career journey and can’t wait to see your continued impact. Beckey Woodard Cole Chief People Officer

Pros

Unlimited PTO is good at least.

Cons

Pluralsight has had a lot of trouble of the past few years, and leadership changes have happened to reflect that. Unfortunatley the new regime is very cliquish, and the culture has turned very toxic toward anyone not in the "in-group". The reality is this company is on a downward trend and the people in charge are more looking to find blame than create solutions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your candid feedback. I recognize the past few years have been challenging for both the company and our team members and I understand your frustration. We still have a lot of work to do to improve our culture but it’s something me and the rest of the leadership team are committed to. Our recent employee engagement survey showed a 10-point increase to our eNPS since last quarter–a strong signal that we are heading in the right direction. Hearing that you’re experiencing a toxic and cliquey culture is disheartening and not something we stand for. If you’re open to it, I’d love to have an open conversation about your experience and explore ways we can improve together. We’re committed to continuous improvement, and your experience is an important part of that. - Beckey Woodard Cole (Chief People Officer)
