Unless you are a 'Good Old Boy' Stay Away...

Pros

There is a divergent attitude if you are in sales versus operations and even division to division. That falls directly on the division presidents and the CEO for lack of a clear cultural objective. Some folks skate by, while others get thrown under the bus. One other plus, if you're lucky enough to be working in Cary, there are plenty of other companies to find employment with.

Cons

Title states it. Culture is 'my way or the highway'. Hope to high heaven that they don't acquire the company that you work for. There is no room for other ideas, it's amazing to see qualified people with experience in some of the best companies in the world get broken into just repeating some of the division leaders same old ideas that don't work. Most of the time that results in them leaving the company after a short time (1-3 yrs max).

No Loyalty, watch your back.

Pros

Company has descent pay and benefits.

Cons

After 7 years of employment i was let go because the person who was harassing me for months complained to HR. No one even spoke to me about the issue to see what was going on so I was completely blindsided by it. My boss was fully aware of the situation as it was brought up to him by several people and he did not do anything because it would make him look bad. The company is set up as a more of who you know and not what you do. Advancement is predetermined in most cases and interviews are only a formality so the company looks good.

Cons

Too many leader at the upper level and too much favoritism with the managers. Rules only apply to certain employees in the same position.
