working in tech is great lots of rewards and incentives for doing well (sales) amazing offices and perks in office positive and upbeat culture growing company, you can grow with it casual environment
Cons
SO much turnover (in sales and otherwise) very poor transparency and communication (sales) high and somewhat unrealistic quota (almost no one hits it, between 20-40% of the whole department a month) management is stretched to the max goals are constantly changing, added pressure used to really care about work- life balance, but that seems to have changed in recent months. pushing people to over work themselves, even working on holidays, if it means making quota (hitting quota is a choice) not a lot of support or trainings, especially when you start (bike shop is a mess and is focused only towards AE’s) PIP plans are designed to fire you easily, they do not seem to offer much support or try to help you improve don’t seem to know how to work with remote employees very well, focus is definitely on people in person
