Pros

Podium is a fantastic place to work despite what is suggested by some of the reviews below. Personally, I have progressed through multiple roles and set myself up financially, and made friends for life - and I'm not the only one. Lots of opportunities for top performers to excel, broaden their skill sets and progress their careers and I would recommend Podium to anyone looking to take their career to the next level. Podium has a high-performing culture and those that perform are very well remunerated with many people in the team earning 200k-250k+. These top performers also closely nurture and coach the younger talent - especially those that actively seek this coaching. Now for a lesson from the school of hard knocks and tough surprises... If you believe that joining as a junior SDR with little to no SaaS experience will result in you earning more money than the average doctor (who studies for 7+ years) in just 6 months on the team, then you likely don't have a realistic understanding of your capabilities or how the world actually works. You need to be prepared to humble yourself, leave ego at the door, work hard and be innovative. You won't do well here if you fall into a victim mindset or think the world owes you something - it doesn't....

Cons

Podium is a growing business so things aren't perfect. Constant change is a certainty. Junior folks and those new to SaaS can find this destabilizing.

Pros

The best place I’ve ever worked. As with all tech companies, you need to put in the work, and you’re not just another number. If you care about your career, Podium will provide you endless avenues to take it to the next level. I have complete confidence in both the management and product at Podium. More importantly, Podium changes the lives of both SMB business owners, and the day to day users who use it.

Cons

If you’re not motivated, not willing to work hard, and want to be another cog in the wheel, then Podium is not the place for you. If you do care about your career and making a difference, there’s no cons to Podium in my opinion.

Pros

I started at Podium 3 years ago as a wet-behind-the-ears SDR having never sold SaaS. In those 3 years Podium has given me: - Unbelievable professional growth. I've worked my way up to a Senior AE, being promoted 4 times. Yes, the money is great when you hit your numbers but you also learn, learn, learn. Working at Podium will set you up for a successful career in tech sales. - Friends for life. The culture at Podium is something else. - The rewards/spiffs are unreal! There's monthly spiffs for top performers and overseas founders club trips to places like Mexico/Bali etc. If you're a hard worker, you will not find a better place to start, or continue your SaaS career.

Cons

- Surprise, suprise, you need to actually hit your numbers to succeed at Podium. If sales was easy, everyone would do it (and we wouldn't be paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for it.)
