Pros

Still some good people here

Cons

No infrastructure or leadership to scale the company. The best of times here saw top talent and opportunity working here. Those days are sadly gone.

Pros

Cool Building, Free Drinks and Coffee, Remote Options.

Cons

Company is completely lost. Management doesn't know what they are doing. None of the systems work and everything feels like a complete mess. Management is way under qualified for their positions, and have no experience in running a company. Just a bunch of BYU Bro's trying to do the cool tech thing in Utah. No diversity. Micro managing. They will just do whatever every other tech company is doing and follow suit. They just preach false positivity all day, and never share anything that is happening under the surface. This month is saving churn, next month will be something else. No matter how hard you work, your reviews don't result in anything when it comes to compensation. The only way you can get anything in the company is if you are part of the "Bro's" club. Just don't work here... I promise, its' not worth it.

Pros

- They pay all-expenses for you to come to "training" in the beautiful Salt Lake City UT area upon hire - Both of my direct Managers were sweet and kind to me - Most of my teammates were awesome

Cons

OMG where do I begin on the long list! SMH.....well out the gate, something VERY important..... make sure upon interviewing you are aware of the difference between an OUTBOUND and INBOUND SDR against what you applied for. They keep that on a hush because they don't want you to know you'll be totally on your own to get your own leads in Outbound. I was LIED to when I specifically asked. They only share the leads from their marketing efforts with Inbound ONLY. You're forced to stay in a territory which sucks because it isn't fairly even and not necessary since in an SDR role, you're passing the appointment you scheduled to an AE anyway who truly has that geographical area AND their calling on your SAME leads to try and get an appt before you. No helpers to one another.....only "dog eat dog" work atmosphere with Managers encouraging it. When you don't produce, you're told your lazy and it's all your fault. This companys internal process is HORRIBLE and CHAOTIC (their CRM system is terribly compromised, rigged and full of garbage (WAY OVER contacted dead leads) ) and it will continue to stay that way because Managers are quick to pass the blame torch during morning and afternoon Stand Up meetings everyday and fire all the entry-level reps who speak up. They operated like that old place that got exposed, WeWork - everyone drinks the "kool-aid" and turns a blind eye due to a false sense of "work community/family/all-inclusive/diversity" that they actually work hard to display and pay heavily to advertise outwardly about their company......But again, ALL LIES! There is not even ONE black MANAGER onsite or remote! It was truly so bad of an experience I'm glad I'll never forget it, because it will always remind me what to watch out for in a so-called "glorified #1" company in their industry and what to NEVER accept again from an employer. A few other "Smoke- n-mirror" things: "Unlimited" PTO "Training" "Promotion" "Salary" "Commission structure" I could go on and on, but I hope this helps someone with enough info to at least if you decide to work for Podium, you can go into it with both eyes WIDE OPEN, upfront, knowing what you're getting yourself into.
