Pros

The overall building and place you work is great. Depending on the team and manager that can also be great.

Cons

If you work in sales, it is very cut throat. If you work in Customer Success or are looking for an Account Management/Customer Success role look elsewhere. Over the past year, Podium doesn't give a fu about their CS motion. There is nobody in the C-Suite that is over Customer Success but roles up to Than in Sales. So there is no voice for CS and over the past year they completely got rid of the SMB CSM role along with the admins over the tools that they were using. They also had a massive pay cut to CS reps along with the company wide layoff. They also just cut back on a lot of perks like no more smoothies, no Christmas party, no 401K match, no more swag, and a lot of other stuff.

Pros

Work from home and medical benefits

Cons

This place is super toxic. We are severely underpaid and the amount of micromanaging that happens here is beyond compare. Also, I feel like upper management needs to re-take their own DEI training and disclose to interviewers that all work hours will be both mountain time but also your own time zone. What I mean is, all meetings are scheduled in MST. So if you’re in the EST no big deal, you’ve probably been working an hour or 2 prior. But if you’re in PST, you’re expected to be in a meeting at 7 or 7:30am and be checking your Slack for updates prior to that. But also being in PST means they still expect you to work until 5 or 6pm. But breaks are basically not allowed because if others on your team are making dials and you’re in a smaller number of dials you immediately get slacked saying that it’s “already “x” time and you’re only at “x” amount of dials”. The people saying they promote work/life balance must have come from terrible places or are not in sales

Provo Bro Culture

Pros

Most of the people I worked with were awesome - kind, helpful, intelligent, etc.

Cons

It's very white-washed provo bro culture which is ostracizing for anyone who doesn't fit the mold. Recently laid off 12% of the company right before the holidays.
