Pros

- Everyone is friendly and super supportive of each other, and managers truly care about the personal and professional development of their reps. There is definitely a culture of celebrating each other's successes and motivating one another, which is so heartwarming and lovely to see! - Podium's product is genuinely impactful, easy to understand, and constantly evolving, making it a joy to pitch to potential customers. - Being able to talk to business owners/stakeholders from a myriad of backgrounds, approaches, and industries is always interesting and eye-opening. Furthermore, discovering/probing into business problems and identifying ways in which Podium can help is super satisfying and a great exercise of the mind - especially in inbound when you get to chat with people from all verticals/sub-verticals and types of businesses. Basically, every customer is different and there's never a boring or dull day at work due to diverse pipelines, leads, and ways of aligning Podium's solutions to unique needs and values. - A culture of innovation and improvement!!! - Endless resources, training, and guidelines available to help people succeed in their roles. The organization of trainings and webinars is also exceptional, making it readily accessible and convenient for people to build their skillsets, get questions answered quickly and clearly, and develop themselves in their roles. - Spiffs and incentives make the day-to-day life as a sales rep even cooler and more exciting.

Cons

- Whilst the pathway towards vertical promotion is straightforward, super well-communicated, and nourished (and accelerated) with guidance, mentorship from leaders, and clear performance indicators, that of lateral promotion has a vague timeline with less of a clear trajectory towards obtainment. - Overtime policy can be quite stringent and a limitation on flexibility.

Pros

Podium will push you! But if you buy in and embrace the Journey it can be extremely rewarding and fun! They reward those who want to work. It is not a place for everyone and that is okay. Great Benefits and good fun.

Cons

There could be a little more transparency when changes are made. A little warning goes a long way. Hiring or filling positions can take a bit at times.

Pros

I have worked at Podium for 8 months, and within that short amount of time, I have been promoted 2 times. I started as an SDR 1 and then within 4 months was promoted to SR SDR and 3 months after that was promoted to Account Executive. This is my first sales job and only sales experience. Podium believes in their employees. They train well and put effort into helping their employees succeed. Sales leadership has made several changes over the last several months that have contributed to the success of so many SDRs! This is a great company if you are looking to advance your career. The promotion path is simple... hit your numbers, get promoted.

Cons

Change is constant in the sales org. All changes always end up being for the better... but just be prepared for a constantly evolving sales org. Not necessarily a con but it's something to note.
