Pros

The mission. Beautiful offices and campus. Hybrid work. The people - from legacy companies.

Cons

The CEO and his cronies are out of touch. He has brought in his own people and has no clue what made the legacy companies successful or special. Most of us have never seen him in person. We had some great C-level employees, who left recently, and what is left is sad.

Pros

They do not tell you in the interview process this is a call center and you are being watched your entire shift. If you need to use the bathroom they know need a 15 or 10 min break they know. Scheduling time off is difficult and micromanage everything needs approval. They judge your calls and time them. Even though you're working from home you might as well be sitting next to your manager in an office because they're always watching. Shifts seem nice until you realize in order to work 9-5 you must work weekend or work mon-frid 10am-8pm

Cons

No work life verint kpi system always watching and timing yiu

Pros

Point32Health is really two companies trying to come together but as most of my experience lies on the THP side that's what I can talk about. In IT they are very process driven and have good record keeping in ServiceNow to allow for research of internal processes and where they go astray. They do things like manage software licenses, track server changes, develop security policies, and design networks very well. They are very focused on change management, adequate testing, and communication. To say it another way it's very structured. In my limited HPHC experience they do not seem to have this structure at all and it shows quickly. The remote work policy is very good for most people. If you happened to be near Canton they have a lovely campus. It's very hard to get there though unless you already live South of Boston.

Cons

Even prior to the merger THP was a deeply siloed company and the merger has just made it worse. For most people you work in one of three companies - Commercial, Senior Products (Medicare), or Public Plans (Medicaid). Some job functions go across all silos like IT. Like all companies there is a decent amount of "dead weight" here - people who have no idea how to do their job. Unique in my experience here is that a lot of people are micro focused on very specific tasks and anything outside of that just isn't their job. These people can not deal with change which doesn't work out well for anyone in a merger of constant change. Since "big brother" has been watching over them for a long time this has worked but it isn't working any more. If you do just want to make repeatedly make widgets, with no hope of advancement, you can find a place here. Talent isn't going to shine here though. Don't expect new ideas to be embraced unless you're already at the top. The politics are unusually active here with far left progressives setting policy. Often these policies are well intentioned but exceedingly poorly executed. If you are a moderate democrat or at all conservative this can be frustrating to be around. Mostly you can ignore it but it comes up fairly often. Nobody wants to get cancelled at work so there really isn't much balance.
