Pros

- Ability to use and learn cutting edge technologies (latest version of React, latest version of .Net Core, Azure functions, etc.). Our technology stack updates as the industry does. - Fast paced environment that caters well to learning new skills and applying them immediately on both the front end and the back end. - Rockstar team, collaboration throughout. Everyone's thoughts and opinions on a solution are taken into consideration no matter how senior or junior the engineer may be. There are no "strong egos" - Management does a great job with product support triage and feature requests. - I don't think i'd have nearly the same confidence and experience that I have now without the freedom and responsibility that DealerPolicy has given me.

Cons

- The company growing faster than engineering can hire, which means we often have more work slated than we have capacity.

Pros

Remote They do provide you with a laptop and monitors

Cons

So many to list, management is horrible let’s just say the managers are hired not based off experience but based off the buddy system. If you have a disability don’t tell them, no support whatsoever they will find the smallest things to write you up for and get you out the door. They claim the new compensation plan is better in which it is work harder but get paid less compared to the old one. My current manager was my boss for 4 months then got demoted due to not reaching out to his employees so you can kinda understand where this company is going when hiring management. If you try to apply for another job no matter how much experience you have tenure rules out everything at this place. Management points fingers at others. Pay is pretty lame compared to the amount of work you do quoting, cold calling, emailing, creating binders and id cards, reshoping customers but you don’t get paid out on those. Referrals are paid at $25 a referral, while employees are at $15 an hour pretty sad. When you start they tell you that you will be licensed in all 50 states but only give you 3 states to sell in for 2 years so making it impossible for you to be successful. The most you will make is 40k a year.

Pros

The Technology does work but Completely dependent on Frontline sale team at the dealer level to utilize. Set up to fail. The owners ability to sell venture capitalists on smoke and mirrors. Spend VC money like they stole it. Great benchmark for how inept a corporation can be. Free upgrade to VP status with Application.

Cons

Upper management. EGO’s and finger pointing. Pay plan changes every quarter. No knowledge of the space they’re selling in. Cox’s minions! Not one of these fools built anything. Less chiefs more Indians would save this venture.
