Pros

Solid company that has a good bottom line. Very stable company that will be around for several years to come. Since they are privately held, they are able to do things that most public companies would not be able to do nor attempt to do.

Cons

Management is always a bit lacking. People are hired based on who they know and not always with their competency. There is also some disconnection between different sectors of the company such as Sales and Engineering.

Pros

Little risk of getting fired as long as you show up. Low expectations for the pay. Lots of overtime if you like never being home.

Cons

Point system, HOT in the summer, COLD in the winter, pretty much the same temperature inside as it is outside. Pay raises are a joke. If your lucky you get a $0.25 raise a year. Very rarely a $0.50. Most of those are washed out by the increases in health insurance. Most promotions are based on who's been there the longest. Management seems to try to put obstacles in your way and then tell you to figure it out. Managers also will tell you to do something, then when their boss grills them about it, they put it all on you. Vacation structure is atrocious. If you're in 12 hour days, 4 days per shift, they only pay you for 10 hours on a vacation day for a total of 40 hours, not the 48 if you had been there. Big pay cut to take a week off.

Pros

Good company stability some good benefits for employees. Starting pay for entry-level employees great. Good work schedule 4 days on 4 days off. Job security as long as you do the bare minimum of your job duties. No experience required for some positions just take some tests and pass.

Cons

Extreme conditions as far as climate if its hot its hotter inside if its cold its cold inside. Working with some managers and supervisors that really don't know what they're doing. If you come up with any ideas they are overlooked while you're there, then all of a sudden they come up with that idea later. When asking for raises it's like pulling teeth, then if your manager puts you up for a raise you still might not get it because it goes all the way to the top management who never really sees your work and gets denied. If you fit there idea of a manager you will definitely move up unfortunately not everybody is Caucasian.
