Remote work option overshadowed by intense micromanagement
Pros
Only pro is that it’s remote
Cons
Where do I start? You’re being micromanaged down to the seconds!! If you go a little over your breaks and lunch expect to hear about it. If you’re in avail for too long expect to hear about it. The micromanaging is the most intense I’ve seen in any remote environment. The job itself is presented as outbound but they use a dialer that makes it all inbound because you either have to call them within a minute of receiving the lead or it’s on a predictive dialer which automatically connects making it inbound not outbound. Receiving the leads themselves is also not fair. You are put into a specific insurance or payer to work with and you will stay in that one payer majority of the time. They claim they switch you payers constantly but will keep you in that payer majority of the month making it less fair for you to achieve your goal because certain payers have better enrollment rates. You can try to dig in the lead lists they provide but those leads have already been called countless times. You also are not bonus eligible until you reach a certain percentage of your goal which staying in the same payer the whole month does not make it fair.
