Pros

Great people Great benefits Flexible scheduling Consistent communication on changes Opportunities to learn about food service if that's a career you want

Cons

Promotions are promised, but not given accordingly. Company often hires from outside rather than utilizing qualified workers already familiar with culture. Those promoted often tend to be brown nosers and those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the Potbelly cause, which more and more seems to be about making money.

Pros

food discounts, paid breaks, somewhat flexible management scheduling due to operating 7 days a week

Cons

no raises, yearly raise of a paltry 1.5% paid quarterly is not enough, 50+ hour work weeks, nights, holidays and weekends make it not worth it. No management development, district managers seem content to sit back and forward emails from corporate all day. Promotions seem to be based more on who you know then what you have accomplished and if you get stuck with a bad GM you will get lost in the shuffle.
