Pros

All performance metrics are measured, which holds team members accountable and keeps the team engaged The "Love the Customer" attitude from all departments is really awesome to see, and it is common to witness team members going extra mile to make sure customers are happy They are focused on career growth - as proven time and time again, team members that work diligently and dedicate themselves always get ahead here.

Cons

The PowerPak culture of high performance and the 'Customer First' mindset is strong here. Be prepared to work hard and be held accountable. That's great news for some, but it does mean that if the above things don't fit in your values - this isn't the job for you.

Pros

Difficult to find pros when they don’t have their ducks lined in a row

Cons

You know when you get that feeling in your gut that tells you something is off or wrong. TRUST YOUR GUT AND RUN. This is a family run business. The problem with that is, if you have any concerns or complaints to bring forward it’s going to work against you as HR is the owner of the company. Some people inherited their roles and therefore do not have the background or knowledge to answer a lot of questions that come up. I can’t speak on behalf of all departments but the one I was apart of, was a mess. They encourage you to bring ideas forward but if it has anything to do with constructive criticism it’s just going to annoy the family that’s running the business and it’s going to have a negative impact towards you. This place prides itself with integrity and honesty but in reality it sincerely lacks it. I asked for simple tools in order to do my job, tools which every other employee had in order to work in their role... I was told I was asking for too much. If you’re working remotely, be prepared to be asked to turn your video camera on while everyone’s on mute (they say it’s to bring a sense of togetherness) in reality it’s to watch you. (PS that’s illegal) If you’re in the office and have any sense of personality. This will not be the place for you. Don’t laugh, don’t talk and certainly do not have a voice. You’ll be told that people have complained about you. Only to find out that it’s really management that doesn’t care for your actual personality. If you’re afraid with COVID and what is occurring, be prepared to sit in a closet sized room with no windows or air circulation with 2-4 other people at the same time making telemarketing calls. If you value any type of privacy, best believe this place is quite exposed. Be prepared to feel timed or to feel some kind of pressure when you decide to use the restroom, as everyone can see you walk in and walk out of the only single restroom of the floor. Be prepared for a 30 minute timed break because there is not enough staff for coverage. If your lunch is at 12-1230 and you’re running behind. Best believe you will not be able to take your lunch at a later hour (FYI Powerpak, thats actually illegal and against the law) . Those 5 star reviews are mainly family members boosting the company CULTure. Personally if i could give it a -5 stars, I would. I’m glad I got out when I could.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Unfortunately many of the claims made above are not factual and are untrue. Like many businesses in the USA, PowerPak started as a family business. Within the first year we hired members of the Management Team that have no family ties, and will continue to do so as we grow. We strive to provide the best working conditions for our team and we have demonstrated this throughout the COVID19 crisis. Certainly not perfect but we never rest on our laurels! Our culture is one of hitting targets, hard work and accountability, and we are a team of high achievers. We are always really clear about the fact that this isn’t for everyone in our interview process – but our list of happy customers and our growth speaks for itself. Check out our Google rating – 4.9 stars comes from an incredible team of dedicated professionals who put the customer’s needs before their own.
